The Lepak is the first sofa we own that nobody wants to get up from. Covers came off for washing after the kids' party, no drama.
Made slowly, by people who sign their work.
Every Kayu piece is cut, joined and finished in one workshop in Johor Bahru. We dry our timber for two years, use joinery instead of staples, and the maker signs the underside before it leaves. If something ever loosens, the same bench fixes it.
