"Why can't I find my business on Google?" is one of the first questions new owners ask. The good news: most of the fixes are free.
1. Check if Google knows your website
Type site:yourbusiness.com.my into Google. If nothing shows up, Google has not added your pages yet. Sign up for Google Search Console (free), add your website and submit your sitemap. This tells Google your pages exist.
2. Give every page a clear title
Google reads the title and description of each page. "Home" tells it nothing. "Aircond Service in Shah Alam | Your Company" tells it exactly what you do and where. Write the words your customers would type.
3. Make it fast and good on phones
Most people search on their phone. A page that takes ages to load loses them, and Google notices. Test your site with our free speed test.
4. Set up your free Google Business Profile
This is the box with your map pin, hours and reviews that shows up when people search near you. It is free from Google, and you can set it up yourself at business.google.com. Link it to your website.
5. Be patient, and keep it fresh
New pages can take days to weeks to appear. Pages that answer real customer questions, such as prices, areas you serve and how it works, are the ones that climb over time.
No one can honestly promise you "page 1 in a week". Be careful with anyone who does.
